I am officially employed!

I got a job! I start on Monday. Yea! I am so looking forward to independence and freedom and all the other stuff that I have lost! I have my own little office, no real boss, and I get to work with all the patients one on one. I am super excited! I want another identity, besides being SuperMom......

Hannah Montana party!

Well, we had Laiken's Bday party. It was small, only 2 other kids besides ours came. We had it at the house to cut down on stress. Anyhow, she made out well.

She got from us: 4 hannah montana shirts, a hannah zip up sweatsuit, HSM Troy houseshoes, a HSM headband, some Hannah headbands, a Hannah watch, a HSM charm bracelet, a Hannah watch..I am thinking there is more but I forgot. Her friends got her a Gabriella doll and some pink princess shoes. And a magic wand. Her grammy sent her a Bedazzler, some make up, and some glitter pens. Her Memaw put money in her bank account...

She had a pretty good day. I love her so much. Here are some pictures of her cake, and of course...Laiken!

My baby's Birthday!

My baby girl is 5 today! I can't believe she is that old....

I remember being at the hospital, waiting to have her and wanting her so badly. I have never wanted something so bad as I did her that day. And I remember the instant overwhelming love I had for my daughter. She was my angel and I was in love..still am.

She is a headache sometimes lately, but I still adore her.

We are having a Hannah Montana party tonight. I will post pictures of her party later. She is so excited, as she puts it. She got to pick out all the Hannah Montana stuff she wanted at the store and we let her have it as soon as we got home last night. She didnt want to wait. But, she will hava a surprise when her daddy gets home tonight. :)

The good news is..

I got a new phone. YAY!

Bad day!

I have had a terrible horrible day! Arrgh. I am ready for tomorrow! Here's a minor excerpt from my bad day....

I go to Wal Mart with kids. I go to get my cell phone and I drop it in a McD's cup. With Scotty's spit in it. I didn't even realize it was in my car. I hate that he dips. I think it is so disgusting. Yuck. So now my cell phone is drowning in stinky brown saliva, and I stick my hands in there to get it, and I spill it on me. So now my cell phone doesnt work and I smell like s&*%. I am so mad at him for leaving it in my car. But he thinks it's my fault for dropping it in his cup. Please let me make it through the rest of this day!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to wear these. I hate wearing socks. I am tired of cold weather! I want to wear flip flops all the time!

Preschool

Is a little ridiculous these days. Please don't get me wrong, I believe that my child's education is first and foremost in their lives after God. But, is it really necessary to have competition over where whose child goes to preschool where and what languages they teach? Trying to get my kids enrolled is a headache. We also searched for a nanny, but the pictures we had to look, through, well...although a nanny has great references, I am not sure I want to hire one to sit at my home all day when she looks like she stepped out of Playboy. I have found an excellent job and I want to take it, but the cost of preschool is outrageous and there is huge competition and apparantly, my kids might be lacking because they don't know French. And they learned Spanish from Dora the Explorer. This has proved to be a daunting task.

Family History

I have been at home since Sat without leaving or going anywhere. I have got to get out! I think it is really cold out, though. It's like ten am and I am still wearing my pajamas. I have been working on a project for my husband and it has kept me really busy. His father wasn't around him very much. He was born when his dad was kind of old. So I have been doing research on his grandparents and greatgrandparents and I have found out so much cool information. It is very addictive. Trying to find more info out...I have found out so much cool information on www.ancestry.com. It is the coolest website. Try it if you haven't. I typed in my own name and found myself on other family member's webtrees. My family has been working on one, so this is how I got involved in Scotty's family. But, I found a newspaper where his grandparents were married in like 1915 and I take myself back..and wonder if they were in love, and etc. It's been alot of fun. I have traced his family back to exactly where we live. Which is really pretty neat. His great grandparents were married and lived right in Middle Tenn. Anyhow..try it out! :)

A Working Mom??

Me?? I got a job interview on Friday in Franklin at the hospital. I have mixed feelings and emotions about it, so we shall see how it goes.

For stay at home moms...

When I became a sahm, I figured everything would be perfect. I did everything right with one baby, then they kept coming and I got lazier. Don't get me wrong, I DO take care of my kids, but there are these moments when I am reading, watching TV, playing on the computer, and I look up and the kids have made a huge mess. And I was completely oblivious. I just came across this pic, and it was titled the husband's perspective of a sahm, and I thought I would be honest. Some days, this really is me!

This weekend..

has gone by so fast! My husband's oldest brother, Richard came to visit. My husband doesn't seee him very often. He is much older than Scotty, he is more like my parents' age. Anyhow, we hung out at the house Friday. On Sat, I got my hair done and Scotty put the kids bunk beds together. We went to eat at Jim N Nicks and then we played at Steve's Fantastic Fun Zone (bounce house). And it's already Sunday. I am actually laying in bed with the kiddos, watching cartoons. I used to fantasize about doing this when they were babies, I would think someday we can all lay together and watch TV as a family. And now we can. Scotty is at the doctor, he has elevated blood sugars so he is having a glucose tolerance test on a Sunday morning. :( Not fun.

Princess Bella.....

is my precious baby. She is a little chihuahua, and I love her to pieces. She is fun and feisty, and loves to cuddle. She hates to have her picture made, which annoys me. I am always trying to take her picture and she ducks her head. I managed to snap a not so great pic of her yesterday and here it is! :)

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's day, we went to dinner with the kids at a local steakhouse. Then, I went grocery shopping all alone. It did not feel like Valentine's day at all. I got a gift certificate to get my hair done, and some roses. Scotty brought home all the kiddos something just from daddy, and I loved that. (He is so thoughtful) They all got cards and chocolates from him. Scotty bought two cards for me because he couldn't decide which he liked better, and thought I needed both. One was a musical card, and the other was sappy. :)

My Tattoo

My tattoo..something I said I would never do, but did. I got this tattoo on a whim, just because I felt like it. I knew if I was going to do it, it needed to have some meaning. I love stars, like really love stars. So I got for stars tattooed on the top of my foot and they represent my family. My husband, and our three kids. So here is an ugly picture of my foot. With my tattoo. :)

Not so fun Snow day

Did I say that I was excited about the snow yesterday? I think I lied. I had a horrible day yesterday! We went to a friend of mine's house and played with her kids in the snow. By the time we got there, the snow was melting and the temperature was dropping. Go figure. Camden, my littlest one, lost his mittens in the snow. Laiken, my almost five year old peed her pants in the freezing snow because we were too far from the house and she absolutely could not hold it. It was too cold and I was ready to get inside and stay inside. Nontheless, I snapped a few not so good pics. :(

I just painted my little princess' room pink and was looking for princess stuff. I about had a heart attack at the thought..just the thought of paying 14,000.00 for a little girl's bed. My little princess will have to stick with Target and Wal-Mart! But, it was cool to look at the stuff on their site. :)

Tatouage and Wall Art..

I have been remodeling and painting lately. And I am so tired of painting. I had this brilliant idea to paint circles on my sons' walls and then I was tired of painting, so I gave up. But I still wanted the circles. My aunt told me about Tatouage, and I figured I would check it out. So I have discovered a new form of wall art. I researched it alot and I found the best deals on Ebay. But the new form of wall art is not like wall stickers or decals, they are permanent. Target also has wall transfers and some pretty cool decals. There are also wall quotes, which I have ordered off of Ebay, but haven't used yet. I just love that you can do a whole kids' room and look like you worked really hard but it is super easy and it looks like you really painted. Anyways, I was wanting to take a picture of my circles but my camera isn't working. Check out www.houseoftatouage.com and www.ebay.com and search tatouage. I will post pics later. I am planning on putting some paisley prints in brown in my lime bathroom. Check back. :)
