The kids go to school year round here, so they have been at school awhile now and have grown to love their teachers. I want to tell their teachers thank you. They are truly excellent teachers and have made a lasting impression on my kiddos. I believe teachers are so very important and are a stepping stone in every child's development. I am sad to have to say goodbye to them!

Last Day

Today is my last day in Tennessee. I am an emotional wreck....I hate leaving here. I love it here....I think the anxiety of not knowing what the future holds makes me nervous. My kids love their current school (they go to an EXCELLENT school) and now they are going to a very small school and that makes me so nervous. Especially for Caden, since he has Aspergers and has a hard time adjusting anyways. I am going to miss alot of the things I take for granted here in the city....I am going to miss the malls and restaurants, and the diversity of people here. I mean, I am going to TImbuktu people! I am trying to look straight ahead and think positive. I just am really going to miss all my friends here. The things I am going to miss the most are: Megan and Kira, Tairra (my fave workout buddy!), my hairdresser, Grant because he motivates me to push myself more in the gym, (he's a pretty good trainer!), the gym and the 2 hours I spend there a day with Tairra..(ok, I am getting teary eyed!) I am going to miss some of my fave restaurants that I can't go to in Arkansas...like Mellow Mushroom and Toots.., oh, and the wonderful city parks we have here... :( Ok, I am going to quit rambling. I am going to miss all you people so much!

I am not really into blogging so much, I read other people's blogs.:) I am pretty boring, and don't have much to say. :) But, I wanted a cute blog...it took me three hours to change to a custom background and I still don't have it the way I want it. So, I am pretty irked right now.

I Love Big Lots!

I have a Big Lots addiction. I go at least once a week, just to look around and see what's new. I usually find soemthing...today I bought some Burts Bee chapsticks which I love for $1, a really cute mug, and 4 candles. I spent eight dollars and some change. :)

My Fave Shampoo

My favorite shampoo is currently buy one, get one free at Walgreens. I LOVE this line. They have tomato and cucumber shampoo as well. I like the chapstick and body butter too. I am stocking up!

I walked into the chandelier in the dining room this morning. Now I have a goose egg on my eye. :( It looks hideous!

Street Safe Program...

So, when our city announced that it would be participating, I didn't think twice about it. I dont run red lights and didn't think it applied to me. So I checked the mail yesterday, hoping I got some great coupons and magazines and there is an envelope addressed from Street Safe. I tossed it on the counter and went about my business. Had no idea. I guess one of my kids opened it, because it was ripped open later. I looked at it and there are pictures of ME, running a red light. So now they caught me on camera and I have to pay a $50 fine. UGGGH.

kids say the darndest things....

Today, while shopping @ Wal Mart, Camden humiliated me. It may have not been that bad but I was mortified....

So, we were in the panty/bra section and I am buying a new bra and some hanes sleep tanks (love those) and he saw some boy short panties that looked like boys underwear...it had picture on the display of this woman wearing them. He looks at me so matter of factly and says really loudly "Mommy that woman has a big penis!" People looked at me and my face got all red....I tried to explain she didn't..but he swore she did....

My face was so red....

Sick day.

So today is Camden's 4th birthday. It is not such a good day, so far.

Laiken has been sick since Fri. She went to school yesterday, anyways. She came home miserable. She has been asleep since about 4:00 yesterday afternoon...I think its around 8:45 am now. I started feeling icky before bed last night and now I have a fever. UGGGGGH.

So, anyhow, its my baby's birthday. And I am sick and Laiken is sick which means we will be having to make his birthday up to him. Noone here feels like cake and ice cream. :(

My little man fell down the stairs :(

Camden fell down the stairs on Saturday. :( (Twice)

The first time, he had his fuzzy blanket wrapped around him and he tripped over it. Landed on the hardwood with his nose. It was a little swollen.

A few hours later, I heard screams. He fell going up the stairs and his his nose AGAIN. Id didnt look so bad till later and it started swelling. It turned all red and he had like carpet burn from the stairs. It looks better now, but still bad, nontheless. I hate when my babies get hurt..it kills me.....
