weekend

This is a phone post, so not sure how this will turn out.{with the pics}
I had a really great weekend. My dad took us to one of my fave spots, (Petit Jean if you live close.:-) I love the pic of my dad, Camden, and I.:) We hiked to Cedar Falls with the kids, and its a strenuous hike. The kids did great, and did not complain. The waterfall at the end was worth it. It's so magical almost.
The hike back = not so much fun. But it was worth it. When I was struggling back up, I realized how much life is like that one hike...
This morning, I thought and prayed for every single person I know struggling with infertility and or who has a baby in Heaven. I thought of my sweet baby girl in Heaven all day. And I'm so thankful God have her to me. Even if she can't be in my arms, He chose me to be her mom. And that's a blessing.

I came close literally to losing my own Mom last night. The house she was at last night burned down. It caught on fire while she was sleeping. I am SO thankful she made it out. I cannot imagine losing my mother. I praised Him all day. She could have easily been taken. It hurts to think about.

Scotty was able to come home for the night and made it to church this morning and tonight, and I'm so thankful. That was my best present.
