just a lil Friday ramblin'

I thought I might try and redeem my sweet lil girl. After that last picture of her, that is. It was slightly pitiful. Poor girl. This picture was taken last Thursday, the day before she fell. It's been a week today and already looking better.

Today was our county's big rivalry football game. Go Hornets! It has always been a huuuge deal around here. There were like 30,000 people there this year and the game takes place at War Memorial, where the Hogs play when they play in Little Rock. We skipped this year bc I just don't feel too good. I'm getting kind of sad we stayed home now after I'm seeing all the fun FB posts.

Tomorrow is the day we've all been waiting for....drumroll, please!!!! The first game of the Arkansas Razorbacks football season! Woo hoo!!! Wish I was headed to Fay to watch in person, but instead I'm watching on PPV. The Hogs will whoop Missouri State. Oh, how I love this time of year...

I'm loving watching my own son play football and dreaming of him someday playing for the Razorbacks..(or the Hornets, ha). I'm so ready for 60 degree football nights and hot chocolate and hoodies..and all the other things about fall most of us love...

It is bittersweet as last year at this time I was pregnant and dreaming about my sweet baby and planning. And it really is bittersweet. I ache for her, but am so happy that I have this baby. I'm having a hard time. It's just so emotional..

Anyways..have a great holiday weekend! And Woo Pig Sooie!!!!!!

I can imagine this time of year and being pregnant at the same time brings back a lot of memories, thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I hope you can get through these days, weeks, and months joyfully all while remembering sweet little Ryan:)
