Saturday Stuff

Today is October 1st. October is National pregnancy and infant loss month. 1 in 4 women will experience some form of loss.

Please remember all the moms and babies in your thoughts and prayers this month..

Today Caden had a football game and the lil Razorbacks lost by 1 point. I sure thought the big boys were about to lose it to the Aggies but the Hogs decided to wake up and fight!! And the Razorbacks pulled off a win! Woo pig Sooie!! I'm still SO happy!

Can you believe I got my first sunburn in forever today?

Tonight Laiken wanted her fave thing, a bacon and blue dog from Sonic..I think it's yuck!!

Somehow lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and blue cheese sound yuck on a hot dog to me. Or maybe it's just me..but I took the kids to Sonic and now we are just chilling at home watching TV.

I have been researching cloth diapers and am really wanting to cloth diaper. I follow alot of cloth diapering mamas on YT. Do any of you guys cloth diaper? I'm thinking about ordering some newborn all in ones..

Right now, I am missing my husband SO much. It's so hard to be away from him for so long..I try to remember a the women who have husbands overseas to help me, but gosh it's hard sometimes!!

I'm about to watch Bridesmaids for the first time! Hopefully it's as good as I've heard it is!! Happy Saturday night!!!

I bet it is so hard for him to be away so long. Thank you for your comment. I can completely understand the anxiety that comes along with another pregnancy, I'm so glad things are going well for you though!

I got the idea to cloth diaper too late with #2. By the time I wanted to do it, we would have spent a good bit of money on diapers and she'd have only been in them another year or so. But I still think starting out in them is cheaper. Hard work, for sure. But I say go for it! You have time to do the research and it's definitely cheaper!

I'm so sorry you are missing your hubs!!! Praying for you always!

LOL at cloth diapers! My mom used them with me b/c she didn't really have a choice. I say go for it if it is what you want to do. It's just not for me. I can't expect my mother-in-law to do that for me all day. Oh, and I hope you know that my blog wasn't saying anything bad about cloth-diapering mamas. I just don't like those people who act like you are wrong if you don't do it!

I'm with The Mama, I thought about cloth diapering with Griffin but I worry that now its too late and I'm not prepared for it. Thanks for the reminder to everyone about how special October is! It's not just about Halloween in our house anymore! Prayers that you get to see the hubby again soon! I know how much I miss Bobby during hunting season and thats nothing like what you have to go through!

Lots of love xoxox

I don't think being away from your spouse for long periods of time ever gets easy no matter what they are doing. I've experienced all sides of it, and it doesn't get easier no matter what. The good thing is it's not permanant. :)
