Christmas trees and Thanksgiving

Tonight I got in the Christmas Spirit. I still have alot to do, but I got two trees done.

My little bitty tree;) it's lime green but it won't show up, and I'm too lazy to get my camera out.

Here's my big tree. The ribbon is lime green, but looks gold on the phone camera. Plus I have TERRIBLE lighting in my house.

Its all silver, white, and red with lime ribbon.

I was going to put lime mesh on it, but I may mess with it later. I got so tired.
We got the kids new stockings this year and we went ahead and got miss Sawyer one because hers needed to match.

I'd show the whole mantle, but it's a mess and still needs to be decorated.
I really want to do a brown/peacock tree so I may still find a place to put a small one. Not sure.

This lil boy has his daddy wrapped around his finger. Supposed to be in bed, but here he comes with blanky, monkey, and next thing I know they are both asleep.

Cam has had this blanket for years..since he was a little baby. And still sleeps with monkey. I love that even at 7, he still has a little baby in him;) Guess the tree decorating wore him out!

I love this time of the year! Last year I was so miserable I really want my kids to have the best holiday season ever. The year before Scotty was in the hospital and the kids had no stability. I'm determined to make this year wonderful! We listened to Christmas music and had alot of fun.

I will say this every year, but this time two years ago my husband was literally dying. I thank God every day he is still here. I'm so thankful!! I'm thankful today for modern medicine. Every week he faithfully organizes his medicine and he is so careful about not missing.

After he went to his hematologist on Wednesday;)

Never take your health for granted!;)
