Overdue post-6 months

Sawyer Bliss is now six months old. I cannot believe it. She turned 6 months old on the 13th of September and I have wanted to write this post for awhile but haven't.
Sawyer weighs 16 lbs and is 26 1/4 inches. I love this little girl with my whole life and she is the biggest blessing. Sawyer is developmentally delayed due to her "issues" and I really haven't gotten into that too much on here and really in life either. I think she is perfect. Sawyer- At six months, you are such a joy. People comment on your smiley face all the time. You do however only scream when you are hungry or are very extremely tired and you can't relax. It makes me sad that you have such a hard time relaxing your little muscles. You are very stiff and what is known as hypertonic. Sometimes it's not evident at all, and sometimes it is. You had your first seizure at 4 months, and have only had a couple since. You roll over now, but you still can't sit up. You can use your stiff legs to push yourself to standing in your bouncer. You laugh alot. You cannot use your hands well. They work better when you are lying down. You are very spastic and your arms flail outwards when sitting. You can control them standing in your exer saucer for short periods of time. When in your carseat or sitting up, your sweet legs are stiff and always extended. Mommy prays physical therapy is going to help. You are starting physical therapy soon. You are most definetely teething, and you have no teeth yet, but they are coming. You love to chew your clothes and your lovie. You palm your wubbanub into your mouth and hold it there. You can hold teething toys if you are laying down or are in carseat and you love to chew on them. You eat stage 2 foods because you can't swallow stage 1 because they are too thin. Your bottles are still thickened to honey thick and I hate that for you! I always hated making your big sisters bottles. Some people don't realize it's not safe for you to eat on your own unless your bottles are thick because you don't swallow well, it causes your food to go into your airways and lungs and can cause pneumonia. You still get choked sometimes but you are learning to suck, swallow, and breathe better. You love to shop with mommy, and you love to get new clothes. I am pretty sure you have more than mommy. It's ok. Daddy will get over it. He gets upset sometimes that mommy spends so much on such tiny clothes, but I have to remind him that you are a true life princess. You are the prettiest little baby and I love to see you smile or do something new. You are so stinking sweet. You hate tummy time, but you tolerate more every day. I pray that you overcome your challenges and that you are always a happy girl. Your mommy and daddy love you SO SO much!!! You are so absolutely beautiful and we couldn't have been more blessed! You are having some additional hearing testing next week. We think that you have hearing loss. Right now you are playing in your exer saucer and you are squealing and that is my favorite noise! Sawyer Bliss, I know God has big big plans for you!!
